Club Description:
The original name of the club was the Overland Rugby Club, because the team was comprised mostly of students from Overland High School.   As more players from the area became interested in playing and competition for on campus facilities grew, the team moved to Expo park for games and practice and became the Aurora Saracens.  Aurora Youth Rugby offers High School Club Rugby to athletes in North, Central, South and East Aurora.  We have historically had players from Montebello High School and when Summit County Men's Rugby folded, we had two players drive down for two years to play with us. That is the "diverse personality" of Aurora Rugby.  We recognize players commitment and achievement each year with a rugby sport pin that can be added to the athletes school letter jacket.
